The trip of a Lifetime.

Hello Everyone,

I'm not quite sure where to start. Well I am in Nova Scotia right now staying in the Westin Hotel in room 348. The bedrooms are really nice the the pillows... oh boy... I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight. :D

To start I left at 6 am this morning and arrived in Canada at 11:30am. I made 3 new friends and I have been hanging out with them all day. I first met Sarah on my second flight, she's from Michigan. ha ha. She reminds me a lot of you miss Rachel. Next I met her roommate for the room and her name is Katie and she is from Oregon. And last but not least I met Sara with no h and she is from Santa Barbara. Small world. She and I both know Mr. Bowden, oh how I miss that man.

So once we all met we went on a mission to find some food and to go look at our boat. After trucking all of the area I finally asked for direction to get to the boat. It big. But carnival looks like the biggest boat in the world compared to my little boat. Anyways I am completely excited and making friends right away definitely is making things easier. :D

I am completely ready to get on this boat and get things started tomorrow. It looks like I'm only going to have about 2.5 hours of internet time so it looks like I'll be searching for internet cafes in the countries to keep you all updated. I did take a few photographs today but I will wait till I get to the next port and I'll have some to upload and a much more entertaining story to tell.

So my bags are packed. I have my journals. camera. laptop. and all of the bells and whistles that keep my life in working order. I hope that you all are having a wonderful time back in the states without me. I'm working on what exactly I'm hoping to achieve and what I wish to come away with. A little birdie said that that is something I should figure out before getting to Spain.

The trip of a Lifetime.

And so it begins .

My flight leaves at 6:00 am bright and early on the 26th of August.

Lands in Nova Scotia, Canada at 11:34am.

That is the start to my once in a lifetime adventure. The itinerary includes the following counries that I am sure will change my life forever. Nova Scotia, Canada . Casablanca, Morocco . Accra, Ghana . Cape Town, South Africa . Port Louis, Mauritius . Chennai, India . Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam . Hong Kong / Shanghai, China . Yokohama / Osaka, Japan . Honolulu / Hilo, Hawaii, USA . and finally arriving in San Diego, California, USA on the 14th of December. I am so excited about this adventure that I have barely been able to sleep the last couple of nights. Talking on the phone with friends and saying my goodbyes and wondering if this is really all that I am allowed to take along in my bags. 3.5 months for a girl and 2 bags = not a good combination. Also, I am officially stating that I hate goodbyes and I don't think that they are necessary. I hope that you all will think of me over the next couple of month because I know that I will be thinking of you ALL A LOT. You are all in my heart and I can't wait to share this adventure with you via the internet.
